Stunning Santa Barbara Wedding at Villa Sevillano

Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player Joc Pederson and now-wife Kelsey were married in January at a stunning Santa Barbara wedding at Villa Sevillano.

The overwhelming theme throughout the weekend was the strong sense of family both sides exhibited. The tears and laughs were in abundance during the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Soon after they were engaged the couple asked Kelsey’s dad if he would officiate the ceremony. They surprised him with a baseball bat engraved with the words “Dad, will you marry us?”

The wedding featured a surprise musical performances by John Legend who sang during the couple’s ceremony and reception. Only Kelsey, her dad and few of the key vendors knew about the performance which was a surprise for Joc and the wedding guests. 

Kelsey helped plan many of the details of her wedding with the help of wedding planner Kim Curtis (Toast Santa Barbara) and the stunning moments were capturing by world renowned film photographer Jose Villa. Just a few of the highlights included rose petal canons that fired during their first kiss, a 22 person wedding party and a tree planting ceremony that included both of the moms.
